 2024 Outdoor Practice Schedule

Outdoor practices are on Tuesdays and Thursdays on the track at Phoenix School
from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. starting April 2nd.

Practices times are extended from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. from April 2nd onwards.
 

• Remember to bring water and wear sunscreen if it is hot and sunny! 
• Remember to dress in "layers" in case of uncertain weather conditions.

 Spring Training Outdoor Schedule

2024 PRACTICE SCHEDULE:

Our Outdoor Track Practices for the 2024 Season are held on the track and
Field Event practices are held on the designated areas beside Phoenix Middle School. Long Jump pit, throws circles etc.
At this time the following events will be offered:

SPRINTS
MID - DISTANCE RUNNING
JAVELIN
SHOT PUT, DISCUS
LONG JUMP

(We are not offering HIGH JUMP at this time because we don't have access to the school) 


The track might be slightly "mushy" when it rains heavily, so be prepared with a change of footwear and extra socks as well.
Please note that no washroom access is available at this time. 
Dress warmly appropriately or in layers if the weather looks uncertain.

ALL of our coaching staff are COVID vaccinated.
ALL of our adult coaching staff have Criminal Record Checks on file.
ALL of our coaches operate under the code of ethics and guidelines for Safe Sport as outlined by Athletics Canada / BC Athletics.
